Peak Digital Training are delighted to announce that we have found a fantastic new location to use as a base for our photography training workshops in the Peak District. It is a cottage in a secluded part of the White Peak not far from Bakewell, with wonderful subjects for photography just outside the door – including meadows carpeted with wild flowers, field systems with drystone walls and barns, and archeological remains (there are several scheduled ancient monuments nearby). Best of all, the cottage itself is in an isolated position, with no other houses nearby, and set well back from the nearest road. It will allow us to offer a new type of photography course, where we can photograph the amazing range of subjects that surround the cottage itself, come straight inside to review the images on computer, then go back outside to take more shots within minutes.
The 170 year old cottage itself is fairly basic, but it has drinks making facilities, a wood burning stove and toilets – and the local pub offering good food is only 10 minutes’ walk away across the meadows. Most importantly, the cottage offers a cosy place to shelter from the vagaries of the Peak District’s weather!
Look out for details of our next courses to be held at this wonderful spot on our news page at https://www.peakdigitaltraining.net/blog
